DescriptionA Regency convex mirror. Carved wood and gesso. Convex mirror within an ebony reeded border. The mirror surmounted by an eagle about to take flight. To the base is a shell. Some minor losses, a patrice and the scroll from the bottom of the shell, would have had candle arms. Approx. 34" high x 24" wide.
