DescriptionGeorgian bronze sundial. The centre etched with a lion and unicorn either side of a shield with the four national emblems of the UK surmount by a crown. Beneath a flag with 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' 'God an my right'. This is surrounded by a band with Roman numerals and 'DOCET UMBRA' 'The shadow teaches'. The outer band is decorated with a snowdrop design.
